Well, last night was a rough night, and the morning was proof that life sometimes fucks you up the ass without permission. So most of us probably have car alarms, yes? And the purpose of the car alarm is to alert you when something/someone disturbs the car. This is the point where one would go out and INVESTIGATE the reason for the alarm. I think most of us are so used to hearing them go off that we have become accustomed to ignoring the sound. THIS IS A MISTAKE. This is the exact time one should go and INVESTIGATE the source. I bet by now you are getting the idea that this is something I did not do, and you are right!
So here is what happened……..after a very restless night of sleep and not well rested, I leave the house to go to work, and as I get into my car I notice this large gaping hole in my dash where the stereo should be…and then the night before comes rushing back to me. There I was…somewhere around 9ish, watching a very good episode of Big Brother, when I hear a car alarm go off that sounds exactly like mine. It sounds like it’s on the other side of the house in the neighbors lot, so I ignore it. It keeps going off……and I think “fucking turn your car alarm off”…..yeah, there was my mistake. Because it wasn’t the neighbors car alarm……it was really MY alarm, and because I did not go investigate when it went off, I instead sat there enjoying Big Brother while my car was being broken into and someone stole my stereo and cd’s. Let this be a lesson to you all…..always investigate!!!!!
